Welcome To Adventures In Mentoring

Adventures In Mentoring

The Adventures In Mentoring (AIM) program matches at-risk youth with adult adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts for participation in wilderness survival and adventure racing competitions.

Using nature as a classroom, the AIM experience nurtures positive relationships and teaches valuable life lessons to youth struggling to find their way in a traditional learning environment.  Mentees develop new interests, life skills, improved physical fitness, an incentive to further their education, and the confidence to blaze a trail toward healthy and productive lives.

AIM was founded and initiated by world record ultra-marathon athlete Jim Dreyer as an exciting new mentoring program designed to recruit much-needed volunteers for partnering mentoring organizations.
